This Robot Boy flies! Back in the 60’s, Astroboy took the US airwaves by storm. This Japanese animation was one of the first to hit our shores. A whole generation of children where transfixed by this new robot hero, along with the other anime imports of the time, Gigantor and Kimba the White Lion.
Now you can own your own Flying Astroboy. Battery operated, he has 2 light bulbs that light up to simulate his jet powered legs and a motor driven propellor. It juts out past his jet flames and pushes him through the air, round and round.
Flying Astroboy comes with a pivoting stanchion which is fastened to your ceiling and a thin, 4 foot monofilament which attaches to Astroboy. Put in 2 “AA” batteries in him, turn him on and give him a gentle toss and off he goes.
Astroboy is 11 1/2 inches long.
