The scanner can be a bit tricky to use; the arrows on the top of the scanner must be aligned with the arrows printed on the barcodes. In addition, make sure that the scanner is pressed firmly against the barcode. There are 10 different shopping adventures and over 50 items to scan for hours of amusement. And kids can clip the price tags to home items, then by them back. This talking cash register comes with over 25 play pieces and uses four AA batteries (included).
