Final Countdown!
BMW can look back on an extremely successful DTM season in 2014, thanks to an excellent team and an unbeatable racing car. Compared with the previous model, 1200 components were redeveloped before the first BMW M4 DTM rolled out of the pits at the Circuito Monteblanco in Spain. The AMG Mercedes C-Coupe DTM celebrated its debut back in 2012 with a one-two win in Hockenheim. A year later Robert Wickens in a Mercedes finished the season in 5th position. The 8-metre Carrera racing circuit with a tight ‘Nordkurve’ bend provides the perfect opportunity to turn this immense potential into points by pushing the car to its limits. Both teams have optimised their cars. Since 2013, Robert Wickens has been driving the STIHL Mercedes AMG C-Coupé in the new bright orange STIHL Timbersports livery. Joey Hand is looking to become the first US driver to climb the podium and make DTM history in his new BMW M4 DTM. The countdown has begun!
