Becausethe fishes are large and a little heavy, the iron’s head in the fish, is not outside, so you need more patient to play, need whole “mouth”(fish iron) to fit “mouth” (fish pole) competely. We tried and checked, the fishes can be caught. If your kids feel still hard, you can try to make the fish and the fishing pole matched & contected directly(not put down far away), or used as bath toys/ decor in swimming pool/ bathtub etc.
