I am such a drone snob. I have owned quite a few drones in my days. From the moment they came out it had become my new obsession. They are so fun to fly that I just find myself buying more of them. I love how different the drones I have are, but some of them are better at flying than others. My family loves to watch the drones fly, and I even helped out at my nephew’s wedding by taking aerial photos from above. It was such a cool experience, so I was glad that I had a few different drones to choose from. When I took photos for the wedding, I used this DBPOWER UDI U842 Predator WiFi FPV Drone. This drone has been a welcome addition into my collection for the unexpected features it has. It performs great, and I haven’t had any issues with it whatsoever.
Best Features
This DBPOWER drone has all the typical features you are going to find on a traditional drone. You’ve got your headless mode, which is great for beginners. It makes your flight a lot easier, and you don’t have to worry about losing control. It connects to your phone, it has a really good camera, an alarm that tells you when you’ve gone too far, you can do flips on it, and to top it off it has an extra battery. The drone itself is made with high quality materials that feel sturdy. I don’t worry about it breaking if it were to get in a one time crash like some of my other drones.

Pros
There is a lot of great things about this drone. The camera really is top notch. It performs much better than the cameras I have on my other drones, which is why I used it at the wedding. The flight time on one battery is pretty standard, 6-9 minutes, but that means you can get almost 20 minutes of flight time with the bonus battery. The transmission range is 30 meters, which is great for small space flights and anyone who lives in the city or suburbs.
Cons
The charging time on this drone is a bit of a bummer. For only 6-9 minutes of flight time it has to charge for 150 minutes. That’s a bit high on the charging time compared to other drones.

Final Verdict
All in all, I would buy this drone again. For $129.90, I happen to think that the drone is the best out of what I currently have. The charging time could be lower, but it performs really well.
