Foot soldiers are never the stars of the show. While everyone wants to collect action figures of the dashing hero and the scurrilous villain, the hard-working foot soldier languishes on the shelf. And that would be a shame in this case, because this character from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle series is a pretty impressive-looking baddy. He is dressed mostly in black and also wears a silvery smock. A black hood with piercing gold eyes completes the outfit. He’s well armed too, toting two swords, two throwing stars, and a nifty crossbow that shoots a little plastic arrow. And if his fashion sense and weaponry don’t lure you, consider this: While the Ninja Turtles are doomed to a lifetime of typecasting, this foot soldier can easily transfer to a GI Joe set, a Star Wars diorama, or just about anywhere a supervillain needs a hired thug. –Charlie Williams
